General Instructor Training
Course Goal:
This course will provide the information necessary to competently research, plan,
prepare, present and evaluate a block of instruction in accordance with the systems
approach.
Course Objectives:
- Teach a 70 minute block of instruction.
- Develop a lesson plan for the 70 minute block of instruction.
- Construct a test appropriate to the 70 minute block of instruction.
- Complete a written examination.
Note: Student is required to bring notebook on the first day of class. Notebooks
may be purchased at the NCJA Bookstore: (910)525-4151. Also, students will need
to bring a laptop to class each day. An application packet will be sent to the student to complete before class begins.
Note: Out of professional courtesy to others, if you register for a
class and cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible. We can then offer
those on the stand-by list an opportunity to attend the class.
